Academy of Engineering Students Assist With Construction Project

Three Academy of Engineering (AOE) students at Harmony Magnet Academy were present at Friday’s official opening of new restrooms at the Kaweah Oaks Preserve in Exeter. Bridi Busher, Michael Cook and Jadrian Teunissen assisted members of the U.S. Army Reserve Innovative Readiness Training Program (672nd Engineer Company, 1st Battalion from Missoula, Montana) with the construction project.

As part of the PUSD Pathways program, students are provided with real-world internships rooted in work-based learning. The goal is to enhance student experiences with rigorous academics and work-based learning to help students meet college-ready standards and sequenced high-quality career-technical education.
