Granite Hills High LJE (Law, Justice and Ethics) Pathway freshman students began a year-long project this morning. Students are taken to a make-believe crime scene in rotating teams and tasked with making an investigation. The focus is on evidence gathering from physical and verbal clues as provided by their teachers.
Evidence is compiled and taken to a criminal lab where students must record the information they found from the investigation. Next spring, students will create an individual presentation based on the evidence found as the entire freshman class will participate in an actual mock trial.
